Ho electrolyzer is still not running

OK , I’ll admit it I have put quite a lot of time into it and have not made it work yet so I’m getting frustrated.

Any one that can help please post a comment. I hooked it up the other day and the + cable got red hot and began to ignite the hydrogen inside the chamber. I put bigger cable on and hooked it up today just to find out I’m back to blowing fuses. This time a 30 amp fuse. The water also still gets very dirty very quickly. I’m using filtered water but not distilled. I’m going to try distilled next time. Any other suggestions would be great. You can see below there is 1 1/2″ of sludge after about 10 min. at low power.
